mandala top-black

The design of the mandala is supposed to be visually appealing so as to absorb the mind in such a way that irritating thoughts are unable to get through and a spiritual essence surrounds the individual observing the mandala, which in turn allows the individual a higher consciousness or awareness, almost as though being hypnotized. This allows the busy mind to take a break while the creative mind is allowed to run free

About Tye dye

In Japan, some 6000 years ago, a unique style of color-dying cloth was invented known as “Shibori”.

There are an infinite number of ways in which cloth can be bound, stitched, folded, twisted, or compressed in this ancient art form, and each method results in very unique, and interesting patterns.

However, the true essence of the art form comes from understanding the synergy between the fabric being dyed and the the ink being used.

This art form relies on harmony and requires an intricate knowledge of how the technique and materials combine to produce these fascinating and eye-catching patterns.
